Operating another owner's stone crusher

What an owner should hand to a contract operator, and what quarry-to-sale management covers when Quarrytec runs a crusher that is not its own.

Two kinds of plant

Quarrytec operates its own stone crushers and mines, and it operates crushers and mines for other owners. The second job is not a visit to “see the machine”. It is taking the shift: feed, crushing, screening, yard and, where the owner asks, the sale.

The owner keeps the lease and the asset. The operator takes the daily responsibility for making the product the agreement names. Those two facts should be written down before the first feed, not argued after the first wrong truck.

What the first call needs

Whose plant it is, and whether the mine is part of the job. A crusher with no legal feed is a parked machine.

Where it is. Planned places are Baroli in Rajasthan, Katni in Madhya Pradesh and Lalitpur in Uttar Pradesh. Another quarry can still be discussed. A name on this website does not mean a crew is already there.

The rock, and the sizes the buyer actually wants. A sandstone face and a hard limestone face do not punish a jaw the same way.

Who sells. Some owners want only production. Some want the chain through to the weighbridge and the invoice. Quarrytec can be asked for the full chain. The scope should say which one it is.

What the owner should still see

A short report: feed, output by size, and what was sold. Not a story. If the 10 mm pile grew and no 10 mm left the gate, the report should show that, because that is either stock or a size problem.

Maintenance does not disappear because the crusher belongs to someone else. Wear parts and the next shutdown belong in the same conversation as production. A contract that ignores them is a contract that will stop.
